I have a G3 96 ram on a 2400 running 9.0. I had a terrible time with 8.1,
8.5, 8.6. Maybe crashing 2-3 times per day. Since I went to 9.0 I can't
say I've been free from crashing, but it sure seems like it since it is so
infrequent. I was to the point that there must have been something wrong
with the main board and sending it off for a couple months. I decided I
would give 9.0 a try and have been extremely happy.
