It�s a done deal. The eBay auction closes in about an hour. Have a $101 bid on it. I
would not consider going back to the old CPU anyway ! If the new one toasts, I�ll
replace it with a faster one. . not go backwards.

I use OS 7.6.1 on all my PowerMacs. I know it is an old version, BUT it is stable as a
rock and I never have crashes or compatibility problems.
