Arnie,

Everything is up and running, but the McAlly card bus won't load initially,
that is, the 2400 won't start with the card inserted. I had similar problems
with the TDK 10/100 card when I was experimenting several months ago with the
unmodified cardbus supported 2400. Then and now I wait until the 2400 shows
the first extension (in this case it's the G3 booster) and then shove in the
card and it shows up. From then on everything works as advertised.

I am using Apple's card bus support (USB Card Support 1.3.5.smi). I also
downloaded USB Card Support 1.2.smi, but didn't try it as it is an earlier
version.

I assume that the above inability to load is typical and if not let me know
what the fix might be. I can live with it, but I have to remember to eject
the card (command Y) before restart (o.k. in sleep mode) or it won't restart
unless I physically remove the card and then reinsert after startup.

I am using OS 9 and the 400 MHz seems to be faster, but I haven't really got
into timing and testing yet as I was concerned about getting everything
running.

The Vision Deluxe handheld synchs fine with the cardbus USB. Eventually, I
want to use the IR feature, but need to educate myself some more.

Have a happy new year and thanks for all your support.
