Have you tried to reset the power manager? Try taking the battery out,
plugging in the power adaptor, and then pressing the power button on the
back of the Duo for at least 30 seconds.  Should eventually boot.  Then
close down, and re-insert the battery.  You could also try the above with
the battery in.  It worked for me - the thing to do was to keep pressing
the button in! (Could be that the PRAM battery on the mother board needs
replacing.)
