Hi all,
I have been fiddling for quite a while with the installation of a NuBus
graphics card in my DuoDock (in order to have two monitors connected). I
tried my hand at two different cards, one a RasterOps B24 XLI, the other
a Apple NuBus card, but the results were no good - I could not get either
to work, not with a Duo 230 (Sys 7.5) nor with a Duo 2300 (Sys 8.1)
inserted in the dock. I also tried different monitors (a Formac FullPage
and a NEC 15' Multisync).
Now I'm at a loss - hoping for some duolister's experience in such
matters.
There is one more thing I noticed: on both cards there are four slots for
RAM expansion, all empty. Could it be that there is no RAM soldered on
such cards and I should get the appropriate SIMMS? But which type, and
from where?
Any suggestion welcome
Edgar
