O.K., you and that Aussie need to give specs -- ON YOUR DUOS! -- HD size, OS, screen brightness, modem use, etc. I barely get 45 min. on my 3 year old battery, which I occasionally re-condition. This is running OS 8.6 with minimum screen brightness and the modem turned off. As for being 19, enjoy it while you've got it (just be safe). I had no idea what a difference 10 years could make.
