I haven't been listening to the list for a while, but I think I can be a
little help here at least.
If you're using Eudora for email, it doesn't need to have anything in the
system folder. All it does is use the folder that it's settings are in, so
if you take the Eudora folder out of the system, and put it somewhere else,
then use the Eudora settings file to launch it(or make an alias of this
file) you can use Eudora completely indepndantly of the system.
If you make copies of these Eudora folders, and have different aliases to
the settings, you can effectively use eudora light for multiple accounts...
Most browsers also have an option somewhere to say where to save
preferences and cache, so I'm not really sure about this, but you might
look...
