I usually leave my 2300 sleeping with both the battery and the mains
connected when I am not using it. A couple of days ago I unplugged the
mains by mistake. When I got back the Duo was hissing, and the green
sleep light was constant.

Resetting the power manager got it to start up, and all seemed ok. Then,
another problem. I wanted to refresh my spare battery, but when I ran
the programme the white screen which is normally there flashed on and
off, and I had to reset the power manager as before to start it. This,
and lost settings when it sleeps, makes me think it could be the PRAM
battery at fault. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't know what type
of battery it would be, nor how to take the Duo apart, so any guidance
would be appreciated.

Thanks
Alex
