Hi, Listmom here, I've finally made a really difficult decision. My new iBook should be here tomorrow and I'm going to get rid of my 2400. Really I only use the 2400 for travel a few times a year and most of the time it just sits in the case. I'm hoping the iBook with AirPort will make my life a little easier. Size became less of an issue and dreams of 5-6 hour battery life took over. So, I'm offering my 2400 up for sale. It has only been used when I'm traveling a few times a year and has generally had a pretty quiet life. The person I bought it from about a year ago had it as a backup to his primary machine (also a 2400) and thus didn't use it a lot either. So cosmetically it is about as good as you'll find. It has MacOS 8.6 installed and the usual complement of necessary software. The standard 1.3 gig hard drive, 80 MB of ram, Global village 56k modem and Farallon Ethernet PC cards. I'll also include the 4 Port Ethernet mini hub I always carry with it, power supply of course. It will ship in the original box with the original receipt. I'll even toss in the Blue iBookBag I carry it in. I'm asking $1200 for everything and I'll cover shipping in the continental US. Let me know in a private email if you are interested. I'm really sad to see it go but I'm sure one of you will put it to better use than I have been for a while.
