Does this grease ever bond? The reason I ask is that the original adhesive
appeared to have been a small square right in the middle of the chip, which is
no longer adhesive and appeared to have been pulled apart (there is a rip
pattern in whatever the adhesive was). It did not seem to be "grease" of any
kind. Oh well. I don't suppose it matters, a thermal conductor is a conductor,
whether it's in tape form, glue form or grease form.
