Hello Fellow Listers,

I bought a Duo 2300c on eBay. As the battery appeared dead I bought a new
one. Surprisingly, the new battery does not work either. As I pull the plug
the Duo shuts down as if there were no battery at all. Same happens if I use
the Battery Recondition software. The Duo just dies.

I have never had a Mac laptop so I am not sure how to identify the problem.
The Battery icon appears OK (as well we the control strip module) However,
the battery does not get warm. I remember a discussion on batteries a few
weeks earlier, but I can't seem to find those posts. Can it be the bad
contacts? Logic board? Any feebback/suggestions will be apprecialted.

Thank you,

Igor (Portland OR)
