Well, Butch...here's a report from the front lines...about a month ago I
switched from the 250 that I got from you to a Powerbook 540c with dual
batteries.
The long battery life of the 540c is glorious...a whole afternoon in
Starbucks just typing away...something I couldn't do for more than an hour
on the 250...and something I can't even do at all right now, because the
Duo's batteries are kaput and I can't find any decent ones here in the
Phils.
But...here's the downside. In the last two months, I've had my shoulder
seen twice by a chiropractor because of pulled muscles, and I'm really
getting lazy about walking around town lugging the big and heavy 540c
around.
So, while I'm still using the 540c, I'm still longing to see a large pile of
Powerbook Duo batteries at our favorite surplus houses so I can get the 250
back in service.
