I've been using a 2400c as my main daily-driver for going on 2.5 years now. About 8 months ago I upgraded the CPU to a G3 320. I also upgraded the RAM to 80mb and the HD to 4 gigs shortly after I bought it new. This machine has been VERY stable for me. I run it about 12 hours a day at least. I rarely shut it down or restart it, since I use the location manager and the sleep command a lot. Probably 1 to 4 restarts a week.... not bad for a laptop. It came with 7.6.1, I upgraded to 8.0, then 8.1, then 8.5, and 8.6. I will most likely remain on 8.6 for a while since it has been *very* stable. --chuck goolsbee seattle, wa ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
