My Duo 280c is screwy in the battery department as well ... I heard from
the guy that I bought it frm -- and a few other sources -- that there are
rumours of these kinds of battery glitches with our particular models (if
I'm wrong, please someone correct me).

The remedy -- so I was told -- is to buy a new battery.
