They most certainly will, with the 2300c. The 2300c logic board will take
ALL of the Duo screens, monochrome or color, passive or active. My 2300 is
hooked up to a 250 screen (which uses the same cable as the 230, except that
its active).

The only thing that could throw people off is the likelihood that your
2300cs other slot for accepting screen cables (the one that will work with
210, 230, and 250 screens--a horizontal one, as opposed to the vertical one
that will take 270c, 280, 280c, and 2300c screens) is hidden under the thick
metallic membrane shielding much of the 2300s logic board. Youll have to
manually snip out a strip of that shielding to expose that other connector,
and make sure that the cable attaches securely to the slot.

Sadly, the reverse may not necessarily be true--ie, I havent been able to
get my 280c to fire up the 2300cs screen, but this could just be a glitch.

Cheers
Jose (from Norwich, UK)

Do you know if this will work with a 230 screen? If so, I would be
interested. >>

I'm pretty certain that the greyscale models will NOT work with color
models,
screens to laptops and reverse, since the ribbon cable configuration is
different. That has been my experience.
