When I went from a 5300ce and a 2300c to a 2400c I was amazed at the increase in speed surfing the internet. Would I see a corresponding increase in surfing speed if I were to upgrade the processor of my 2400c/180? Part of the speed increase is surely due to the increased RAM -- 80MB in the 2400c vs 48MB in the 5300ce and 40MB in the 2300c, so the 2400c rarely has to rely on virtual memory, but still ...? Since the 2400c's are holding their prices so well, would I be better off selling it and buying a refurbished iBook from Small Dog for $1195? Size, as in desktop vs laptop, and *moveability -- like from the dining room table to a shelf -- is a consideration for me, but portability is not. fritzzz --------------------- William Limbacher Omaha, Nebraska [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------- ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
