Folks: Thanks to everyone who responded to the power adapter question I had yesterday. Unfortunately, after doing the math, I've decided to part out my Duo (for reasons seen below) I am selling all the parts on Ebay....if the winning bidder mentions this list, I'd be glad to give them 10% off the winning bid. The 2300 in question has the "vertical stripes" problem on the screen. After doing the research, I've decided that it is display cable, and I don't want to invest any more in the system. The screen itself is probably good and would work with a new display cable (although I can't warranty that). If this list no longer accepts ebay solicitations from its members, I apologize to everyone and hopefully the list moderator will catch this before I spam everyone!
