Maybe some of you happen to have the same problem, so here's my 2c: I
got a German MiniDock with the unusable mini DIN port and an US Dock
II with 'the real thing'. When I opened both I noticed that the small
modules with the modem plug were interchangeable. Since I need the
phone plug when I'm on the road (with the MiniDock) and not at home
(with the Dock that's on my LAN anyway). I simply swapped them. Now I
can finally use the modem plug on the MiniDock and the Dock needs the
modem adaptor.

Now, another question. I have one of the UK modem adaptors, but it
doesn't work. I'm using the same cable that works perfectly with the
Duo itself and the MiniDock, so either the module or the adaptor are
broken or there is something special about the UK adaptor I'm not
aware of. Any ideas?
