I have a Rio that I paid $300 for new. Boy, did technology move quickly right
after that!

I used it for quite a while, even one time went out all over the Southwest US
with my duo 230 and Street Atlas USA (pre-GPS, of course!), following all the
roads as we drove along. It never was 'perfect' (it always seemed to spin
down right before I needed to access it) but then I don't think the CD-ROM
format is exactly the most reliable medium to begin with; I believe the Rio
is only a 2x machine (may only be 1x).

I have not used it for several years... Anyone that wants it can have it for
$50, OBO, as is, w/SCSI cable and whatever documentation I can find (have to
root around the junk piles for all this) and shipping included.
