As someone else said, reinstall the Newer software. I think this is
MacOS trying to test the 256KB L2 cache on the original 603e CPU
card. Since that cache is removed along with the 603e when you
upgrade the 2400, of course the test fails. The Newer software
should normally suppress the warning.
