Hi all, here's my problem:
About a month ago the 28MB chip in my duo 2300 went bad, so I downgraded to
an 8MB, which game me a total of 16MB. Before this happened I was running
9.0.4 on it with no problems. Now that I have downgraded thoigh, I am stuck
with 8.5.1, which is the latest os that will work with 16MB. I want to get
up to 8.6, but that needs 24MB. Anybody know how I could get 8.6 on this
beast?
Thanks,
Zach Bragin
I'm not sure, but I believe that you can get like a skin for it. This way it
appears as if its 8.6 but it really still is 8.5.1. I did this with mine I
believe and it seems to be fine. Hope that helps a bit.
