Hey John,

I used them all the time (VST and Lind made them) with my 2300.  I would 
not use them on my 3400 as the current draw was substantially more -- 
don't know how they would fair with a 2400.

They were nice.  Lead/acid sealed cells, could really hold a charge, and 
no memory effect.  Sold them all to a guy in PA who makes his own 
computer tote bags: www.moonbowgear.com

You'll be hard-pressed to find new ones.
