Yes, the 15" Bondi Blue LCD is compatible with the 2400 -- I'm using the
combination right now.  The manual for the display states you need a
PowerPC-based Mac, but the ReadMe makes the further restriction that the PB
Duo 2300, 1400, 3400 and 5300 are not compatible.

Given the video limitations of the 2400, you basically have to choose
between 800 x 600 resolution at thousands of colors (my choice) or 1024 x
768 at 256 colors.  Unlike most of the G3 PBs, the 2400 cannot deliver the
millions of colors that the display can support.

For the combined utility of ultra-mobility and desktop functionality, I'm
committed to the sub-notebook/flat panel display combination.  Now, if only
Apple could come out with a 2400 replacement!
