Does anyone have information about where the fuse is on the 2400? Or
do I have to open it up and take a look?

As for ideas on why the fuse blows:
-the well-known fraying problem with the 2400 ps cable
-use of the 2400 with non-2400 ps-es, esp. from the duo
series: in my experience, this would cause the 2400 screen to
occasionally flicker as the power manager tried to (improperly) reset
the voltage.

Cheers,

Ken
