I have a Sony Portable (4X) CD that I use with my 2400c. No matter what I do, I cannot use it to boot. Is there something I'm missing? It always mounts just fine, but none of the keyboard tricks to make the 2400c look for another startup folder cause it to look to the CD. I've hacked the Apple CD/DVD extension to allow it to use the Sony CD, but, of course, that's an extension, and by the time it's loading, it's too late. I know lots of folks have these little drives because they were developed specifically for powerbooks. ---------------- William Limbacher Omaha, Nebraska [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------- ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
