Can anyone definitively describe the symptoms of a blown (powerboard?) fuse on the 2400? Will it refuse to run off of battery, AC adapter, both or neither? Will it "see" the battery (ie, will the battery show up in the menu bar, or only a red X)? My machine refuses to charge the battery. The battery shows up in the menu bar (showing no remaining charge), but no charging indicator either. Runs just fine on AC, and it will run on the battery for a (decreasingly) few seconds. I've had the battery out of it for about six months (no exageration) , and reset the power manager numerous times. I've even tried threatening it with a screwdriver. Bill? Arnie? You guys are the hardware gurus on this thing, any ideas. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
