Colin's problem with the install as described in the install procedure is it
is specific for the G3 Tower CPU/roms. You either have to do a "custom"
install for all CPUs or add an external CD drive directly to the 2400 and
"easy" install OS9 which will then be specific for the 2400c. Ed's procedure
of a "clean" install over Ethernet was driven by the 2400c CPU itself. Any
GV conflict will be a separate, unrelated issue to your error at the Apple
splash screen.
