The 2400 descends from the duos because it is Apple's last sub-compact
portable, like the duo line. Like the duos it does not have a floppy or CD on
board. And I don't mind reading about duos (i have a 2400) because many Mac
portable problems are related and, in my case, i bought my daughter a 280c so i
am maintaining both machines.
