My PB 2400 is offline right, b/c of a drained battery & hopefully due to a dead/dud AC Adapter. However, I had some questions hopefully someone would be able to help me with: 1. Prior to my machine going dead, I rebooted with the mac icons, etc. with the bar going and BAM!, the power would cut out. DOA 2. Before that, I was having problems with the AC cord, I would repeatedly have to jiggle it or remove/reinsert it from the back of the computer because when plugged it it would not show that it was charging with the (battery/lightning bolt) or when I would jiggle the cord, it would alternate from battery to charging and the screen would flicker. Any input for me would be gratefully appreciated. I just ordered a PB 2400 AC adapter replacement, so hopefully that would do the trick. I even tried to open up the brick and tighten the wires since I noticed that one of the wires at the end, covered by the rubber/plastic insulator was slightly loose, but it did not come back to life. Do I have to let the machine charge up for a few minutes or overnight when I get my new adapter?
