I spent four weeks in Oz with my trusty PowerBook 190. (I bought a 2400c to supersede such PowerBook.) I had no problems running the PowerBook there. It ran fine from the 220 mains, and the modem dialed AU ISP's just fine. Hard to guess what that warning is about. Are they talking about someone stealing the computer? Of if they are talking about some other software/internet security issue, they don't know what they are talking about. The internet threats are about the same no matter where you go. BTW: There are internet cafes almost everywhere in Sydney. Mike Friese ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
