AFAIK, there's no limit.  And there's no limit that I know of on 
internal drives.  It's only when mounting the 2400 *AS IF* it were a 
hard drive on your desktop that there's a known limitation with 
drives larger than 4G.

Since I've never used SCSI disk mode (I don't even have the cable for 
it) I don't consider this a serious limitation.  Everything you can 
do in SCSI disk mode you can do by just mounting the PB drive over 
the network.

I have only good things to say about Dantz in terms of support and 
service, though Retrospect's interface can make it confusing to use. 
For users with limited backup needs, Retrospect Express serves very 
well, and is $49 or less.
