dear listas,

some advice, please. so soon after my 2400c happily returned all fixed
(blown fuse, pram battery replacement) from our good fellow lista paul vail,
it's run into an even worse problem: it was running fine for a couple of
weeks, but one day i needed to attah the scsi zip drive (with the 2400c off,
of course). when i powered on, the book began to boot, then turned
blank-white. now, when i press the power button, i get no boot-up chime, but
i can hear the hard disk begin spinning, then i get a blank white screen,
with no cursor, no thing. the three-finger salute or the reset produces the
same effect. resetting the power manager has had no effect. anyone been
through this and identified the problem? i'm hoping to god it's just the cpu
or the hard drive, because i have spares for both... otherwise it's back to
paul for another round of fixes!

many thanks for any help.

cheers
jose (back to his trusty 2300c)
