Tom: I purchased a new pram battery for my 2400 from AllMac, 1-800-We-Fix-Macs, 2209 N ist street, San Jose CA 95131. Allmac.com. I paid $39.95 plus $4.75 for shipping. They have since gone up to $49.95. Their site indicates that they repair macs and can install batteries. I sent the new pram battery along with by 2400 when I had Kevin at MCE install a Interware 320 upgrade and a 12GB hard drive last month. Kevin installed my new battery at the time of the upgrade.
