I have had good success with PowerXtender Airplane & Auto Adapter. Input
12-16 VDC 6.5A
Output 5-24VDC 60W Max 24v 1.88A rev B. Mine also works on most
trains.
I bought mine from COMP USA for $35.00 about six months ago when they
were selling out dated stock.
