No, absolutely not--although, strangely enough, the reverse will work (the
2300c will take any Duo screen, passive or active, color or monochrome; my
2300c has a 280 screen). The 280 will take only 280, 280c, and 270c screens
(not even the 250), because of the way the video cable connects to the logic
board.
