I am in the same predicament, wondering what's coming next, though nothing - knock on wood - has actually broken so far on my 2400. In fact, I'm (re-) contemplating having a larger HD put in. I spoke to a Mac guy yesterday in Austin, TX, who often is well informed, but he didn't have any news either. Hopefully Chuck's and Peter's messages are proving themselves to be right. I use one or both of them heavily (8-12 : hours everyday) in my consulting business. Does anybody know : when the next Powerbook is due out and how it will differ from : current G3? I'm trying to decide whether to wait for something : new, get a current G3 or keep repairing the 2400s (one is already : upgraded with 400mhz processor).
