Did you move to 8.1 from 7.x because it enabled you to run applications
that were not compatible with 7.x? Or did you move to 8.1
for its cosmetic changes even though it slowed down your computer a bit,
consumed twice as much RAM and hard disk space, was incompatible
with some older applications and couldn't even read an 800k floppy disk?
The same considations apply when considering 8.6 & 9.0.4,
Make a list of what you gain and what you give up in terms of
cosmetics and functionality.
