Use Virtual Memory.

80 MB is fine for most things. I regularly have five or six apps open at
once. With VM on there is no appreciable slowdown and you never get out
of memory messages. This might not work for high level graphics programs,
but who on Earth would want to do high level graphics on a PB 2400 screen?

Mac's VM used to suck. Used to. That's why Connectix made a bundle with
RAM Doubler. That program is no longer selling well. Because the Mac VM
sucketh no longer.

It works fine.

Yours sincerely,

John Davis
