OF is only in flash on "New World" Macs (all non-beige Macs and 
PowerBooks starting with the "bronze keyboard" PB G3 model).  On 
older machines like the 2400 it's in mask ROM.

ROM upgrades for the 2400 are very (and I mean *very*) unlikely to 
happen.  Apple's not going to do it (they can't possibly make any 
money off of it), and nobody else is either because only Apple has 
the source code.
