The ROM can't magically make your display bigger. :) It's not that
likely to help the maximum RAM upgrade size much either, since that's
at least partially a hardware limitation. At a guess, the most
you're likely to get is 144 MB (16 on the board, two banks of 64MB
each on the upgrade).

Not real likely. Small market, and as time goes on newer chips get
increasingly hard to adapt to older machines.

An upgrade would require desoldering the original ROM chips and
soldering in new ones. Not a simple process.
