Hi Folks!

I've been around for a few days and was wondering if there is a Duo FAQ
around somewhere? I'm not a terribly technical person and all the acronyms
being thrown around have my head spinning! ;-)

Anyway, to business! I have a Duo 280, 230, Dock, and Dock II (among other
Macs). The Dock II doesn't seem to do anything and someone suggested a
capacitor in the PS is to blame so I'm going to check that out. Any other
ideas?

I also seem to have a problem with 2 of the Duo batteries (a Type 1 and Type
3). The Duos just won't work with these inside... even if I boot up without
a battery, as soon as I put the battery in, the computer shuts off - almost
like it was shorting out or something. I assume its a battery problem since
it happens on both Duos but it just seems weird. Can I fix the batteries
somehow?
TIA!

Trishan
