I just found out a strange problem. I had already the idea that my
powerbook 2400 (newer G3 240/512k) was a bit slower for some time.
And I just checked the NUpowr G3 Control panel to see what my
backside cache setting is. But the backside cache is disabled. I
tried to enable it, but than it says the backside cache you have
selected is too fast to run reliable. The next fastest speed has been
selected for you. I had this before when I tried to select the 1:0
setting, but then I could run at 1:5. But now it is always disabled.
I can't use any setting anymore. I had opened my 2400 a month ago to
replace a fuse (the red cross through my battery icon) but after that
it ran fine. Any idea what it could be?

  Thanks,

        Iwan Baan
