This is very true. If possible, try to make sure that your folder (and
file) names are PC compliant (no '/'s!!!!!)
I've also found that in recent version of VPC (>3), that the shared
folder method is really using the network as far as the PC is concerned
(same for drag and drop), and if you have VPC set to share the Mac's IP
address, this appears VERY flaky to me.
