I don't always have time to answer everything I get right away, and you'll have a MUCH better chance of having your problem solved by posting to the list, where everyone can see it (including myself). Having not worked in a authorized service center since before the 2400 was released, I'm not necessarily the best person to ask about specific issues. I am always glad to help, but I have primarily made myself available to people in my area who need physical help with installation or replacement of something in their 2400, as I am quite comfortable with working inside PowerBooks and have done much of this with my own 2400 (as well as pretty much every other PowerBook).
