Hmmm...the only way I know to make a 230 screen work on a later Duo is to use
the 2300 logic, as it has both the passive and active hardware on-board. As
the 280 was designed to use only the (Sharp??) active screen, it does not
have the proper drive levels for the passive screen. Have never heard of
someone hacking the system to accept a 230 screen, would be interested in
details myself, as I have an old 230 in great shape as well as a 280 logic.
I'd love to get the 230 to a 280. Anyone have details? AFAIK it can't be
done. But, as my wife will testify, I've been wrong before!! :-9
