Thanks Wolfram and Michael for your insight. I will give those -D
parameters a go, to see if I can build against the livna ffmpeg.
Interestingly enough, I have taken a look at the packman {suse} rpm for
dvbcut. That package requires different rpms than are available in
Fedora - specifically qt3 {named qt in fedora}, and ffmpeg0 named ffmpeg
in livna.
I have both qt {which 3.3} and ffmpeg installed. If I rpm -Uvh --nodeps
dvbcut {from packman}, installs without error. Also, I have been unable
to fault dvbcut running {using mainly open|start|end|export - program
stream {both types} | audio previous {lead out/lean in}, and both linear
and exponential sliders. I am yet to see any issue at with that package.
