You don't have to do 'make install' because actually it's just copying the executable somewhere in you path and not everybody wants to have it in some system directory /bin or /usr/local/bin ... I personally just copy it to ~/bin (where I also keep the latest 10-20 builds). ;-) You even don't need to copy it,... just create a desktop link to <yourdvbcutcheckoutdir>/bin/dvbcut and you are executing always your latest and (hopfully) createst dvbcut build. ;-) > > Thanks for your assistance!
