Indeed, the dvc-commit is created automatically in gna.org, and is
mostly meant for CVS commits I think (gna will send them automatically).
There was also an xtla-el-commit that we never used.
Up to now, we've allways shared the same mailing list for commit
messages and discussions (that's still a low trafic ML), but if you
think we should split commit and discussion, we can surely do this.
