We have xmtn-revlist-diff-to-current-tree from revlist buffers. Does mtn pull followed by xmtn-view-heads-revlist and xmtn-revlist-diff-to-current-tree solve your problem? Actually, this fits in nicely with the idea of popping up a heads revlist buffer after pull as I mention in the other thread. Going through the revlist buffer for this makes sense if the assumption is that you frequently have more than one head, but is a redundant step when you only have one head.
