In xmtn-dvc.el, xmtn--add-files has the comment:
;; On directories, mtn add will recurse, which isn't what we want.
At least for the current monotone, that's not true; you have to
specify --recursive to get recursion.
Was it true for an older monotone?
This matters in dvc-status-add-files; currently we have to filter out
the directories from the selected files. But that gives an error if
commit is run with the same files selected, since the directories are
not in the restriction.
